Some people plan their life from childhood and follow a straight path to their goals. My journey was different. I graduated from to high school and went straight to college. Things changed when I realized I had chosen the wrong major.
After this revelation, I started going to school nights, at a different school, and getting a full-time job. When the company closed, I started temping at multiple office jobs. I was placed in an accounting clerk position, doing accounts receivable. I found what I was looking for. I knew from then on that accounting was it! Over time and different job promotions, I finished my associate's degree, then achieved my bachelor's degree and went from accounting clerk to bookkeeper and/or accounting manager.
I specialize in the bookkeeping, getting company's books in order and keeping them in order. I work with the companies and CPAs to make sure things go smoothly and timely for tax filing.
I enjoy having multiple clients, and the diversity that creates. There are always new challenges and new tasks, as well as the important daily transactions that keep businesses running.
